Since the year is ending, I wanna conduct my own top 10 of my favourite movies, music, etc of 2005.So I'd start with albums.Listened to a lot of 'em but only bought a few...*wink* hahaha.But these are the albums that are constantly played in my CD player even until now.So here are my top 10 pick for my favourite albums for 2005. 10) Linda - Jika Kau Kekasih  'Nuff said bout dis one...No further comment..Hehehe 9) Stairway to Heaven OST
 This album has songs that are as sad as the drama itself. Although i don't understand any Korean, it's still one of my fave Korean Drama OST after Winter Sonata OST.The songs are simply memorable. 8) Marion Raven- Here I Am  Being a fan of M2M before, I consider this as a must have album. The songs are pretty cool with strong guitar riffs...What's cooler was the fact that she played guitar and piano for most of the songs herself.Some may finda this album a bit strong for their liking, but I just love it. 7) Rossa - Kembali  What made me eager to hear this album out was because of Pudar. But when I listened to this album almost all of the songs are great. Totally for the sentimental at heart and I do need to be sentimental at times and this album delivers it to me... 6) Initial D The Movie OST  The movie was so great, I could not resist not listening to this album. Jay Chou is simply great in composing and this album proves it. 5) Peterpan - Bintang Di Surga  Sapa yg dok kat M'sia & Indonesia kalo tak kenal dorg ni mesti duduk bwh tempurung. A band which gave SO7 a run for their money and I just can't resist listening to this album over and over and over again. 4) My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge  MCR is the band that brought me back to rock after a long absence.In the age of Franz Ferdinand and The Killers, MCR risked in coming out with a rock album album that is fresh yet entertaining and it worked. 3) Melly Goeslaw - Intuisi  My fave Indonesian composer since her work in Ada Apa Dengan Cinta OST. Yg menyebabkan aku tertarik nak dgr album ni is not because of the 1st single 'Lelaki Idaman' but its 2nd single 'Cinta'. Totally great album.Magnificent music arrangement. 2) American Idiot - Green Day  Green Day is back with a vengeance and this album totally rocks!The best album from Green Day ever in my opinion and without a doubt the best rock album for this year and maybe for the past few years as well.Geniuses they are, idiots they are not. 1) Breakaway - Kelly Clarkson  A really good move by Kelly for switching her previous music concept.She proved that she is the best American Idol and currently the best selling American Idol album ever.All her singles from this album went to number 1 and that is just enough proof that this album is totally the best for 2005. |
